Envirogrow Lawn & Landscape has been providing the Northern Virginia Area with high quality landscape services since its inception in 1991. The business began as a family venture. The company is still spearheaded by one of the founders Chris Hunt who remains the acting President and oversees the management of all operations. Envirogrow provides a broad range of services for both the residential and commercial clients. These range from simple lawn mowing to full service landscape management of your property. Enhancement services are provided upon request.
The growth of the company through the early years produced a need to be able to install mulch in a more effective manner on large properties. In 2000 a fleet of blower trucks was purchased. This division of the company was named Mulch Solutions. The blower trucks allowed the company to rapidly install bulk materials such as mulch, certified playground chips for tot lots, green roof mixes and compost and install specialized materials for stream bank and hillside erosion projects. The trucks allow for the installation of material from a distance in excess of 350 feet and at a rate of up to 70 cubic yards per hour. Our clients for these bulk landscape services include private home owners with large properties, contractors, HOA’s, Property Managers, Day Care centers, County and Municipal Governments. Mulch Solutions has also added dump trucks to provide for the delivery of bulk materials to residential clients. Currently we maintain all safety playground surfaces for Arlington County within their parks system. Notable projects include the US Capitol Grounds that have been mulched during the inauguration in 2008 and again during the winter of 2010.
Our success with the management of daycare safety services has lead to the growth of Mulch Solutions as a National Playground Installer. Currently we are servicing playgrounds in over twenty states.
